Believing
9:29 AM
Hey guys, Typical Bunny blogging from the living room.. Cause internet here sucks and well.. I need to get as close to the modem as possible to get some good shit out of it. :D
Now lets come to the fun part.
There is a long history of violence, bloodshed and hate done in the name of God, and failing to admit it means failing to fix it. After all, just as we're supposed to fix something that's wrong or broken, we can't fix a certain something unless we know or admit that it is broken.
In other words, some actions that were done in the name of faith, it is about fanatical faith which sees it as the only way. For example, centuries ago, people were burned alive for practicing "Witchcraft" in the name of religion, then, the very-ever-so-popular Holy Crusade that sacrificed thousands and thousands of people, and lastly the ignorance towards pre-modern science and their exile/banishment/death.
All this done in the name of God? I don't think so. It's more or less based on human nature and their main "excuse" is religion.
"Oh! Let's kill him cause of religion."
Sounds legit? I don't think so.
Honestly speaking, this is a very very random topic. It came to mind as I was browsing through the internet and came through a lot of posts and articles about religion. So a mere question came into my mind.
What's the fuss about?
I mean. Honestly. I don't bother to have a religion. I've been hanging around with friends who are Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikhs and some other religious beliefs. And in my opinion, religion is more of, guidelines, before leaving the body. We all live in this universe where we're simple souls in physical form, living the life, our life, before out time on Earth expires.
Now before you people all come to me saying,
"Oh! He doesn't have a religion."
or
"Oh! He doesn't believe in [insert whatever here]".
I can easily tell you. I might not have a religion. But I do believe that there is a greater being, God, that exists in a parallel plane. That's practically all that matters to me. Believing that a God exists and knowing that life and death is just a chess game determined by Him.
I take religion as a teaching rather than get drowned in it like some of the people I know. Makes me kinda flexible being an open minded free thinker. I get more out of everything. Besides, ALL religions teach you how to be a better person. What I'm doing is basically taking them out and putting them into one. Like a 3 in 1 coffee. Simple and clean without any further disruption.
Ahh well. Rant over. I'm not sure why I typed this but, it just came from my mind and I had get it written out. So there you have it. Thanks for reading.. If you even did bother reading the long post.. Lol. :D
Ciaossu. :3
